CMSAA is licensed as a private school in the State of Michigan, and is an Associate Member School of the American Montessori Society (AMS).  We are committed to functioning under the rigorous standards that will assure full AMS accreditation, including self-study, AMS evaluation, and the employment of AMS/AMI certified teachers.  In addition, we require our teachers and their aides to participate in ongoing professional development, and maintain American Red Cross Emergency First Aid and CPR certification.
