Celebrating America
June 21 – July 2
This session campers will celebrate our nation’s birthday.  Campers will learn about Native American History, Columbus Day, and will explore what makes each state unique.  Campers will experience the wonderful diversity of America’s land and people.  To ring in Independence Day, campers will hold their own 4th of July bicycle parade!  This session will include a special in-class visitor to provide a historical perspective.  Bible lessons which will be incorporated into this session will include the story of Abraham and the Birth of Jesus.

Creatures from the Past
July 6 – July 16
During this session, campers will step back in time and learn all about the dinosaurs!  They will become archaeologists as they search for dinosaur bones and footprints.  They’ll also grow their very own dinosaur pets to take home and make models of what they think dinosaurs may have looked like.  Bible lessons in this session will include Creation and the story of Jonah.

Sun, Sand and Surf
July 19 – July 30
Splash into summer this session!  Campers will beat the summer heat with lots of water play and exploration of ocean life.  Special visitors will introduce children to the water cycle.  Campers can use a special indoor boat to practice their fishing skills as we learn about the abundant life in the seas.  We’ll also hear of Jesus’ miraculous walk on water and discuss the Woman at the Well.

Jump, Crawl and Fly
August 2 – August 13
From teeny-tiny creepy crawlies to elephants weighing hundreds of pounds, campers will explore them all!  They’ll head off on scavenger hunts and use magnifying glasses to get a closer look at the plants and insects all around.  They’ll participate in Bird Watching expeditions on Nature Trails, and experience a special feathered in-class visitor.  Along with homemade animal masks they’ll make, the campers will be invited to participate in an Animal Dress-up Day.  Of course, we’ll learn all about Noah’s Ark.

International Celebration
August 16 – August 20
Campers will learn all about God’s wonderful, wide world in this session.  Along with many different cultures, campers will experience the foods, language, music, and clothing that make this world a diverse and beautiful place.  There will be Tai Chi sessions with a special guest.  The story of God’s creation of the world will be incorporated into this session.
